2025/01/22

The "Key to the Future" event is hosted by the International Educational Assistance Organization (IEHO) and aims to provide an interactive platform for students, parents, and teachers to explore academic planning and educational innovation, as well as the unique features of the education systems in Quebec and Canada. Through multi perspective speeches and exchanges, the event helps participants better understand the path from elementary school to university, master strategies to cope with academic challenges and academic pressure, and enhance their adaptability to the education system and social life.

The activity is divided into three parts,
Expand from three perspectives: students, teachers, and parents.

Student perspective

In the sharing from the perspective of students, the speaker delved into the growth process from elementary school to CEGEP based on their own experiences, sharing their experiences in facing learning pressure and choosing a direction for further education, helping students better adapt to the changing educational environment. Lv Bingqing, from the IEHO team, is studying Commerce at Dawson College. She elaborated on her story from three main points: "primary school to junior high school", "secondary school to preparatory school", and "parental support and assistance". During this period, various difficulties in learning and life followed one after another, but we saw a student's own resilient qualities, which were also inspiring enough.

Teacher's perspective

Teacher Dong from the Mancheng Chinese Service Center shared with parents and students the education systems in Canada and Quebec, especially the unique features of the Quebec education system, as well as teaching philosophy, teaching methods, and how this system helps students develop comprehensively academically, socially, and culturally. At the same time, we will focus on the common difficulties and challenges encountered by immigrant families in education, and explore how schools, communities, and especially families can better support children's growth.

Entrepreneurial team showcase

This event specially invites two student entrepreneurship teams from McGill University - Color é and Pickeats. Their presentation brought new educational innovation concepts to the live audience and encouraged the younger generation to bravely pursue their dreams and create the future.

In order to liven up the atmosphere and add fun, IEHO has specially arranged multiple rounds of lucky draws, including third prize, second prize, first prize, and special prize. The lottery not only brings generous gifts to the audience, but also increases the sense of participation and fun of the activity.
